Court 18 has some long roots going in to the winter. The second picture not only shows the roots, but the root hairs - macro picture by Nate. These root hairs are especially large as they are not usually easy to see with the naked eye.

LCC Grounds blog began in 2008. Entries have educated membership and the public on the crew, agronomic techniques, horticulture and clay court maintenance.

We had a visit last week from the Essex Agriculture and Technical High School. Sophomores interested in landscape and turf management. Lots of fun showing them our facility
