Crew Views US Amateur at The Country Club

Magnus and I got to view a bunch of US Open trophies that LCC has just gotten back from the Tennis Hall of Fame.  The one pictured is the singles champions trophy from the second US Open which was won by LCC's Richard Sears.
Andrew and Nate went out to UMass Amherst/South Deerfield to set up a tennis court for grass court research.  On Aug 1, turf managers from throughout New England visited UMass for their Field Day - where   all current turf research was showcased including the new grass tennis research.  Click on the first link below for a description of the research and on the second for some Field Day pictures.  The gentleman in the pictures with the white T shirt is Dr. Scott Ebdon - the leader of the grass court research project.
