LCC Grounds blog began in 2008. Entries have educated membership and the public on the crew, agronomic techniques, horticulture and clay court maintenance.

Magnus and I got to view a bunch of US Open trophies that LCC has just gotten back from the Tennis Hall of Fame. The one pictured is the singles champions trophy from the second US Open which was won by LCC's Richard Sears.
Hail to the blogmeister for awakening Rip Van Blog. Nice trophy - great picture - Magnus' jacket looks a little like a Dodgers jacket - I thought we got rid of the McCourts?
I have a great leftover racquetball trophy that has real fake jewels on it - maybe we could use that as it is totally recyclable.
