Golf Course Superintendents Conference

It has been a couple of weeks since I last updated the blog. Tim Burns and I traveled to San Diego to attend the GCSAA annual conference. Normally we attend the Sports Turf Managers Association conference each winter, but this year the education at the golf show was too hard to pass up.
The pull to attend the golf show came from their offering an all day seminar on Poa annua management. The two authors of the textbook, POA ANNUA taught the seminar and it was GREAT! As you can see below, learning from Dr's. Vargas and Turgeon was so exciting that Tim and I had them sign our textbooks!
Future blog entries will include some of the new information the seminar presented.
Embrace Poa annua, it is an incredible plant!
