Healthy Roots
Check out the roots on the picture above. The roots have filled an aeration hole from last fall. The grass plant is amazing - compare the size of the grass leaves above ground and the length of the roots. The .320 inch high grass has roots over 6 inches long! You can also see many other white haired roots in the picture. Strong, abundant roots are a necessity for the plant to be able to withstand lots of play and the stressful summer.
