Geese

For many years Canadian geese have been an unpleasant winter addition to the LCC grounds. We have tried a few methods to deter their visiting the property (they damage both the clay and grass courts) and our current method of stretching strings across the courts has been 100% successful.

Here is good article on geese - why there are so many of them, how to deter them, what works.

Good to "hear" from you Mike - hope all is going well with plans for the upcoming season.

I like the idea of lasers and pyrotechnics to rid the club of geese and will be happy to assist with cherry bombs and high velocity ruby lasers - we should have a great duck dinner after using these methods.

Cheers
