Great pictures Mike - for those who forget, or never knew, LCC has always been an active spot for juniors as long as I can remember (back when dinosaurs ruled the earth). The junior rules were very strict back in the 50's and 60's as I remember them and enforced by Mr. Chambers who ruled the courts. No running, laughing or having a good time on the courts - no grass court play (only clay) - and all juniors were to be seen, not heard. The pool was very active with swim teams and diving from our double decker diving board - adult swim for 15 minutes every hour as there was no diving pool.

But - the snack bar has burgers and ice cream which you charged to your parents! A quid quo pro indeed.

It's T Smith, not Mags. The floppy hat is confusing.

Whoops - should have known that was the czar of the Juniors, not the super, but never supercilious Swede.
