Friday night's thunder storms dropped over two inches of water onto the courts in a short time. The result was a lot of erosion and a layer of silt on all of the clay courts.

LCC Grounds blog began in 2008. Entries have educated membership and the public on the crew, agronomic techniques, horticulture and clay court maintenance.

Ouch!
This reminds me of the time in 07' when Charlie put 74 extra bags of clay on the baseline of court 8. Walsh and I spent the entire morning that opening day scraping off all 74 bags and regrading.Classic Charlie. Classic LCC.

I hard a number of members complaining about courts not being open as I Was playing on one of the few open courts - and it was about the grass courts!!
