Winterizing the irrigation systems today. Pretty wet, cold and gloomy.

An ugly day for working outside, I'll bet. One more day for the French Toast Festival.
Had a a very funny thing happen this morning. I was woken up by a knocking sound at my front door. - stopping and starting. I called out, but got no answer - I went outside, still hearing the knocking, and there was a gigantic turkey (about 4.5 feet tall) knocking his beak against my front door.
"Turkeygram for Mongo!"
"Mongo like turkey".
