LCC Grounds blog began in 2008. Entries have educated membership and the public on the crew, agronomic techniques, horticulture and clay court maintenance.

Charlie's Birthday
The crew celebrated Charlie's birthday with a cake. Thanks to Tim, the cake has a hose with water coming out - Charlie's favorite grounds task!
How about something like - Would you like to do the real easy jobs now? Or, Medicare rules state that you can't be forced to do anything other than water the flowers. In any event, we're happy you're still here and we have the EMTs on call in case you have to do any real work.
Cheers - on your many years of hard work and dedication - even if you now only remember a few of them.
