Got back last week from a visit to Wimbledon. I have lots to write about (and will in future entries) - the trip was so informative. Thanks to Eddie Seaward and Neil Stubley for being gracious hosts to the lone American. Pictured: me on Centre Court - took the picture with the camera timer, AELTC member play, Neil and the lads and Neil leading discussion on Court 2.

Thanks Mike - I'm sure you were able to understand Neil as you've become mates - the rest of us need a translator for Stubs. As we've had only a little rain lately (ha) we need training on best practices when our courts are submerged.
Only kidding Neil - thanks for continuing the close relationship between AELTC and LCC and I'm sure that we'll see you again for the festivities when Mike is crowned "Head Groundsman and pretender to the Chambers/Humphrey throne" with great pomp and circumstance.
The lads are asking for breakfast tea, biscuits and crumpets with jam and clotted cream for their break - I wonder where they got that idea? Mike drew the line at requests for Pimm's Cups, however.
Cheers to all.
