Yesterday was the first frost of the season. This has been one of the nicest Octobers that we can remember. After another beautiful sunrise the crew cleaned up cores and thatch off of the porch row...

Neil's stories are so funny Nathan and Jeff don't realize he isn't shoveling.
Nathan works while Neil enjoys Jeff's tangent about spear fishing and trapeze artists. (I'm not making this up. It was really discussed.)

The quality of stories have taken a sudden nosedive - I wonder why??
Although indeed humorous they leave the impression that the grounds crew is really all about fun and games. The cognoscenti among us know, however, that its really about food, ESPN, news and weather girls and solemn academic discussions.
