Deep Tine

Final aeration of the season. The deep tine aerator goes beyond the usual depth of 3-4 inches of a typical greens aerator. In the video, Jeff has the depth set at 8 inches. Having our own machine affords lots of flexibility, allowing us to take advantage of wonderful days like today - 60 and dry. It may sound counter intuitive, but the aeration and decompaction of the soil now will lead to healthier, firmer grass courts next season. MB

Thanks Mike, Tim and Jeff.

Say, were those sounds from the machine or from Jeff eating something?

Hope your eye is getting better Mike.

Cheers
