Day Lilies

To improve the aesthetics of the Middlesex Road embankment we have pruned the trees, seeded some new grass, added some shrubs and planted some day lilies. The environment for the day lilies is just right as they have done very well in the area.

Maybe it's just me - but I think that life sized action photos of the grounds crew along Middlesex would be more interesting:

Lining grass courts, pounding stakes, mowing, watering and pictures of just plain walking around pretending to be busy would be a welcome change.

I still think that proper uniforms with appropriate ranks and badges ("Badges, we don't need no stinkin' badges") would be a welcomed employee benefit.

The Order of the Mower, The Distinguished Pruning and Weeding Cross, The Aeration Medal, The Bleeding Heart could all be awarded. Think of the possibilities for employee morale improvement!

G. Patton (I get to slap lazy workers).
