Great day at Umass! John would have a field day making fun of us turf nerds at the field day.
I can't wait to contaminate the turf plots with LCC poa annua!
I have been stomping around the poa so much I feel like a Polynesian - but I have to say that playing on the terrace early in the evening has been superb! A great bounce, a nice breeze and, oddly enough, a couple of doubles victories in a row have brightened my outlook about my declining tennis game. It looks like I may be a force in the upcoming tussle between The Swedish Meatballs against the Natty Lights - we'll see as Larry is one of the finest sandbaggers in tennis history.
