Pictures

Pictures from this glorius morning.  The penultimate picture is of the lads marking the porch row for the first time this season.  The last picture is a sign tennis pro Magnus made for the clay courts.  Two LCC teams playing each other, so Magnus thought he would cheer on both teams with his sign - notice the fine workmanship.

Great pictures as usual and I'm stunned by the sign quality. Who would have thought that a former backup signer for ABBA had both tennis and carpentry/painting skills.

The courts are in great shape, looking forward to winning my doubles match today with Gorgeous George Warshaw and me against the wily Mark Gearin and the Slammin' Slovak - Joe Patrnchak (what happened to the vowels Joe).

Cheers to the lads

Fine usage of the language Mike - penultimate is all too often used incorrectly when one wants it to mean the best, or close to the best - not second to last.

BTW - I mistyped in my prior note - I meant to say that Magnus was a former backup singer, not signer.
It is possible, however, that he also made ABBA signs - just to get into concerts for a few krona less.
